Hob-Orcs Complete


The RR15 Hob-Orcs are complete. I went with a simple "black star" shield design, based on the ancient Macedonian royal sun shield design. I painted a few different ideas on paper, but didn't care for the others. I thought this went well with the standard/totem too.

    Great looking unit and I really like the variation in skin tones, the shield design and the torn shield cover on one of the rank and file troopers. Retro figures at their best!

      Thanks! Since I've started using more washes & glazing, it's become easier to vary the skintones. I like the variety it gives, especially for when it's a bunch of identical or similar miniatures.
